Spartanburg Fire Destroys Apartment Unit

Three Other Units Damaged By Water, Smoke

Four people were homeless Friday night after a fire destroyed an apartment in Spartanburg.

Investigators said the fire started at about 8:45 p.m. at the J.C. Bull apartments on Marion Avenue.

Firefighters said it appears a stove was left on and unattended. The apartment was destroyed.

Three other apartments suffered heavy water and smoke damage.

No one was hurt during the fire.
