SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Four people were homeless Friday night after a fire destroyed an apartment in Spartanburg.Investigators said the fire started at about 8:45 p.m. at the J.C. Bull apartments on Marion Avenue.Firefighters said it appears a stove was left on and unattended. The apartment was destroyed.
Three other apartments suffered heavy water and smoke damage.No one was hurt during the fire.
