Police: Man Armed With Toothbrush Robs Store

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- A man was arrested after police said he stole a laptop and threatened a store employee with an unusual weapon.An employee at the Kitchens of the South store said that on Thursday, a man went into the office area of the store and unplugged a laptop and started to walk out with it. The employee said when he tried to stop the man, the robbery suspect made a "stabbing motion" with an object in his hand.The man ran away with the laptop, and employees called police and gave them a description of the suspect.
Officers spotted a man matching the description, and they arrested 52-year-old Douglas Sanders Anderson.Police found the stolen laptop hidden under a vehicle.Officers said Anderson's weapon turned out to be a toothbrush.
