Crews Battle North Carolina Wildfire

WHITE OAK MOUNTAIN, N.C. -- Fire crews are still trying to reach a 40-acre wildfire on White Oak Mountain in Polk County, N.C.Several residents reported seeing the flames at about 5 this morning. They said the flames were on the side of the mountain closest to Tryon Peak Mountain.
Several fire crews have responded. They said they do not know yet if any structures are threatened.
