GREENVILLE , S.C. -- The afternoon storms on Tuesday damaged some Upstate buildings and took down tree limbs,

Some of the worst damage was at the Handy Mart in Marietta. An apparent microburst knocked off a roof and took down trees and large limbs in the area near the convenience store.

There was also damage reported at the fire department in Marietta.

The severe thunderstorm warning for parts of the Upstate expired at 5 p.m.
