Looking Out 4 You: More Girls Gone Wild

It appears that more than one person in the News 4 viewing area has received Girls Gone Wild DVDs without ordering them.

71-year-old Leonard Bridges of Berea said he received seven DVDs in the mail and was charged $19.95 for each.

"I'd just love to see these people not only stopped, I'd love to see them punished for what they've been doing," Bridges told WYFF News 4's Tim Waller.

Bridges believes magazines from which he ordered tools, grass seed and other products, may have shared his debit card information with Girls Gone Wild, resulting in the unauthorized shipments.

"That's the only way I think they might've gotten it, because most of (the DVDs) were ordered off of a debit card," he said.

As WYFF4.com first reported, the parent company of Girls Gone Wild has been in trouble for this type of thing before.

In 2003, Mantra Films, Inc. was fined by the Federal Trade Commission for "shipping unordered videos and DVDs to consumers" nationwide," and "charging their credit cards without consent."

Leonard Bridges said he wants to know why it continues to happen.

He said the DVD shipments finally stopped, but that he was told he can only return two of them for a refund.

He said he is not keeping any of this a secret from his family.

"I didn't want somebody to come in here one day and they might happen to see one, you know," Bridges said.

WYFF News 4 contacted a customer-service-representative at Girls Gone Wild.

A woman named "Sonya" insisted that Bridges would have to order their DVDs to receive them.

But she also admitted to News 4's Tim Waller that one of their thousands of affiliates, selling other products, could have shared Bridges' information with Girls Gone Wild.

Bridges said that is not a product he would ever order.

"I don't understand how young ladies can do things like that," he said.
