Meet Paulette Mitchell

Paulette Mitchell, a culinary instructor, television personality, spokesperson, freelance food writer, and the author of 12 cookbooks, is known internationally for her quick-to-prepare recipes with a gourmet flair.

Her most recently published cookbooks are "A Beautiful Bowl of Soup" and "The Spirited Vegetarian," which is the first – and only – vegetarian cookbook that incorporates wine or spirits in every recipe. She also, with Maryana Vollstedt, has released "The Simple Soups Deck," a fun and easy way to find the perfect soup recipe for any occasion.

Paulette's "15-Minute Gourmet" cookbook series, including Chicken, Vegetarian, and Noodles, was awarded "Best Cookbook Series in the World" at the 2000 World Cookbook Fair in Pèrigueux, France in November, 2000. Her "Complete Soy Cookbook" was named "Best Health Cookbook" at the same event in 1998.

Paulette says her frequent international travels are her greatest source of culinary inspiration.
